Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (431047556) dated (13/11/1443 AH), regarding the Health Insurance Council Circular No. (1200) and dated (8/11/1443 AH). regarding the launch of the updated mandatory benefits package issued under Resolution No. (1443 - 006869) dated (13/8/1443 AH), after taking the sector’s views by publishing the document on a survey platform and holding a set of workshops, and based on what was received by the Council from health insurance companies And health care service providers requesting a postponement to ensure the sector’s readiness to implement the benefits of the policy.
Therefore, the Union informs you of the approval of the Health Insurance Council to postpone the start date of the application to be from (1/10/2022 AD), which confirms the importance of each of the health insurance companies and health service providers reaching full readiness during the specified postponement period. It also notes the need for health insurance companies that have previously renewed health insurance policies based on the updated basic insurance document to communicate with the owners of the documents to notify them of the update and take the necessary action.
